Debra Wichser Named CFO for TVGN
She relocates from New York, where she did corporate development, to Los Angeles to oversee the cable network's finance, human resources and more.
Debra Wichser is the new chief financial officer for TVGN, the partnership between CBS and Lionsgate that runs what used to be called the TV Guide Network.
Wichser, who most recently was vp corporate development for CBS Corp. in New York, will relocate to Los Angeles, reporting to David Wisnia, TVGN president of business operations.
"Debra is a best-in-class media executive who brings 15 years of management and business strategy experience at leading entertainment corporations," said Wisnia. "Her strong background in business and finance, coupled with her proven leadership abilities, will be a great addition to our senior management team here at TVGN."
"I look forward to leveraging my experience to help grow the business," said Wichser.
Wichser will oversee the cable network's finance and accounting, financial planning and administration, human resources, engineering and operations, and facilities.
At CBS, Wichser evaluated investment opportunities for the CBS cable networks, interactive and the film division. She also has led research and analysis for strategic initiatives.
Before CBS, Wichser was director of investor relations for Viacom, and before that worked at Morgan Stanley in the investment banking division. She also held positions at 20th Century Fox and Disney.
