Indie 'Decoding Annie Parker' Rounds Out Cast

Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford and Bob Gunton have joined the project, which is currently in production in Los Angeles.
Decoding Annie Parker, the indie that stars Helen Hunt and Samantha Morton, is rounding out its cast with the addition of Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford and Bob Gunton.
The project from director Steven Bernstein is based on the true story of geneticist Mary Claire King, who discovered a gene linked to breast cancer. Hunt stars as King and Morton plays Annie Parker, a woman who resolves to fight her cancer diagnosis.
Schiff will play Allen, an executive who meets with Hunt's character to discuss funding her research. Whitford will play Marshall, boyfriend to Morton's character. Gunton will play Dr. Benton, who works with another doctor played by Corey Stoll. The cast also includes Alice Eve, Aaron Paul, Rashida Jones and Maggie Grace.
Media House Capital (Canada) Corp. is co-financing Decoding, and will produce with Ozymandias Productions. Aaron L. Gilbert, Media House’ managing director, will also serve as an executive producer, along with Jonathan Brownlee and Sahil Chanana.
Schiff and Whitford are both West Wing alums. Schiff's film credits include Ray, I Am Sam and Forces of Nature. Whitford's film credits include Kate & Leopold, Bicentennial Man and Billy Madison.
Gunton's film credits include The Lincoln Lawyer, I Heart Huckabees and The Perfect Storm.
Decoding is in production in Los Angeles. The project is being produced by Clark Peterson, Stuart Ross, Keith Kjarval, Mary Vernieu and Ron Senkowski.
