Demi Lovato to Take "Break From Music" in 2017 [Twitter]
Yet again, Demi Lovato has taken to social media to defend herself after she claims her comments she made regarding the bodies of Taylor Swift's squad were taken out of context for the sake of explosive headlines. In an interview with Glamour, Lovato stated that she doesn't "see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body. It's kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it's not real." Though she was never mentioned by name, Swift's fans attacked Lovato, who refused to apologize for speaking her mind and urged fans to recognize that her words were misconstrued. However, after hours of back-and-forth, Lovato tweeted that she would be taking a break from both music and the spotlight in 2017. "I'd rather do charity work tbh," she wrote as a reply to one fan.
