Demi Moore Does Rocker Chic Right on the Red Carpet
The Dress: A grommet-decorated white tee and high-waisted leather skirt from Monse's fall 2017 collection.
The Wearer: Demi Moore, who was styled by THR's No. 1 power stylist of 2017, Karla Welch.
The Event: The Harper's Bazaar 150th anniversary party in New York City on April 19.
Why It Matters: A red-carpet veteran, the actress is known to make a statement on the step-and-repeat. And her latest outing is no exception. Moore perfected rocker chic, opting for a crew-neck tee punched up with grommets and a belted leather skirt that cinched her waist.
The made-to-party outfit was designed by rising Monse designers Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, whose pieces have been getting a lot of love from Hollywood as of late, from Emma Watson during her Beauty and the Beast promo tour to Ruth Negga at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. Unlike the model on the Monse runway, Moore swapped out the ankle booties for black pointy Christian Louboutin pumps for a more polished, ladylike touch. (Garcia and Kim also design for Oscar de la Renta.)
