'Desperate Housewives' Premiere: What the Viewers Are Saying
The eighth and final season opener of the ABC series took a 28 percent ratings drop Sunday, making it the show's lowest-rated start ever.
Sunday night's final season premiere of Desperate Housewives saw a 3.1 rating with 9.7 million viewers. Those numbers made it the lowest-rated premiere in the ABC show's eight-year history.
Despite a shrinking viewership, fans (mostly female) took to Twitter to discuss, many tweeting back to star Eva Longoria's Twitter request, "Today is the day! Season 8 is here! Who is watching Desperate Housewives tonight?!!"
