DGA Announces 64th Annual Awards Ceremony Date

The awards dinner is set to take place Saturday January 28, 2012.
The Directors Guild of America’s 64th annual awards ceremony has been set for Jan. 28, the last Saturday in January, the same time slot that it occupied on this past year’s awards calendar.

The DGA's awards dinner will take place at Hollywood & Highland's Grand Ballroom in Los Angeles, DGA president Taylor Hackford announced Friday.

Feature film nominations wil be announced January 9, while the noms in other categories will be announced on January 10 and 12.
The King's Speech director Tom Hooper took home the DGA's top prize at this year's ceremony in January.
