DHX Media sells cartoon series abroad
Canadian indie sells 3 titles to Australia, among othersTORONTO -- Canadian indie producer DHX Media on Thursday said it has sold three of its cartoon titles to Australian broadcasters, including the pre-school series "Franny's Feet" to the Australian Broadcasting Corp.
DECODE Enterprises, DHX Media's distribution arm, also sold the kids TV series "Bo on the Go!" to Disney Channel Australia, while Nickelodeon Australia acquired "Martha Speaks," a Studio B Production with WGBH.
DECODE Enterprises also sold the first season of the live action kids series "Grandpa in My Pocket" from producer Adastra Creative to Canal Plus in France, Canadian broadcasters TFO and Knowledge, CBeebies Latin America, Norway's NRK and MTV3 in Finland.
