All systems go for TW, Tacoda

Antitrust regulators cleared Time Warner Inc.'s purchase of online advertising firm Tacoda Inc., according to a notice issued Monday by the FTC. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. New York-based Tacoda, which targets ads based on a Web surfers' browsing habits, will become a unit of TW's AOL unit.

XM director makes big investment

A director of XM Satellite Radio purchased 270,000 shares of common stock, according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing. Jeffrey Zients reported he bought the shares Wednesday for $11.05-$11.20 apiece. The company is trying to earn regulatory approval to merge with Sirius Satellite Radio.
