Feb. 20-26 event will also honor director Marco Bellocchio with its 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award.

The legendary career of late producer Dino De Laurentiis, who died last November, will be celebrated with a Feb. 20 film retrospective and screening of Tonino Pinto's De Laurentiis doc A Neapolitan in Hollywood on the opening day of the sixth annual L.A., Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival in Los Angeles.

"It's a fitting tribute to a real Italian legend, whose long and brilliant career was centered in both Italy and Hollywood," festival founder-producer Pascal Vicedomini said in a statement.

Films to be shown on opening night include Ridley Scott's Hannibal, Giuseppe De Santis' Bitter Rice and Federico Fellini's The Road.

At the conclusion of Pinto's documentary, noted Italian director Marco Bellocchio, who is slated to participate in a tribute to De Laurentiis, will receive the festival's 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award.

LA, Italia runs from Feb. 20-26 at Hollywood's Mann's Chinese 6 Theater at the Hollywood & Highland complex.
