Dior Homme Casts Lucas Hedges, Depeche Mode's Dave Gahan in Flashy Fall Campaign
Welcome to the Dior fam.
Dior Homme has stepped up its casting game as of late, adding to its catalog of brooding bad boys (Robert Pattinson) a host of more colorful characters, including Rami Malek, Boy George and A$AP Rocky.
Now, creative director Kris Van Assche has recruited two more men to join the #KVASquad: Manchester by the Sea breakout star Lucas Hedges and Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan. The pair join models Christophe t' Kint and Dylan Roques in a short film for the brand's fall campaign called "Into the Night," which was filmed and directed by David Sims.
The flashy short sees Hedges and Gahan posing stoically in crisp black suits and leather gloves between cuts of the models dancing erratically to what can only be described as an aggressive beat while wearing pieces fur coats, turtleneck sweaters and sneakers.
We're not sure if the juxtaposition of young Hollywood men and eccentric '80s rock stars is an intentional pattern for for Van Assche's #KVASquad, but we're here for it.
