Cannes 2012: Dixie Linder Joins British Production Banner Cuba Pictures

Linder joins as the company's joint head of film and television for banner behind "Broken" starring Tim Roth, Cillian Murphy and Rory Kinnear unspooling in Critics Week.

Producer Dixie Linder has joined British production banner Cuba Pictures as the unit's joint head of film and television alongside Tally Garner.

Linder's producer resume boasts Rufus Norris' Broken ,  starring Tim Roth, Cillian Murphy and Rory Kinnear which is set to unspool in Critics' Week in Cannes.

Formed in 2008 with Nick Marston as CEO, Cuba Pictures made Broken with Linder.

They previously produced the BAFTA winning Boy A and co-produced the Young Vic Theatre’s Vernon God Little and the Channel 4 TV series Midnight Beast with Warp Films which will go out later this year.

Linder started her career at Working Title Films before joining Sarah Radclyffe’s SRP in 1993, where she produced Bent starring Clive Owen and The War Zone directed by Tim Roth and starring Ray Winstone.

Most recently she completed Iain Softley’s thriller Trap for Cinderella due for release in 2012.
