Donald Trump Cancels Campaign Appearance Over "Significant Business Transaction"

Donald Trump canceled an appearance at a Friday presidential candidate forum in South Carolina due to a "significant business transaction" that has yet to close, according to a statement from his staff.
No details were released about the transaction other than the fact that is was supposed to close on Thursday.
The GOP front-runner was scheduled to stump at the Heritage Action Presidential Forum in Greenville, which the website describes as a forum that "will give the candidates a platform to engage in a dialogue with experts and voters on the policies central to our Opportunity for All, Favoritism to None agenda."
"[Trump] sends his regrets and looks forward to being with the great people of South Carolina on Wednesday in Columbia," according to the staff statement.
A request for additional information was not immediately returned by a Trump spokesperson.
Fellow GOP presidential candidate and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal used the opportunity to take a shot at Trump over social media.
