Needless to say, social media users were quick to point out the mistake and poke fun.

Donald Trump's recent comment during a rally in Northern California is likely not going to go over well with Golden State Warriors fans.

On Thursday, while stumping in San Jose, the presumptive GOP presidential candidate tried to interject a little sports talk into his speech, but it was somewhat flubbed.

Trump mentioned the large crowd size, as he always does, and he was glad because he told his people that Game 1 of the NBA Finals might hurt the rally. And that's when the flub occurred.

“Who’s going to come tonight? You have San Francisco playing the game tonight," Trump said he told his staff. Needless to say, social media users were quick to point out the mistake and poke fun.

The Warriors are based in Oakland, and the defending NBA champs won Thursday night's Game 1 against LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers.

Trump and the two remaining Democratic presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, have been stumping around California ahead of the state's Tuesday primary.
