Donald Trump on Repeating Vulgar Remark About Ted Cruz: "It Was Like a Retweet"

Donald Trump appeared on multiple talk shows Tuesday morning where he defended repeating the word "pussy," which one of his supporters called fellow GOP primary candidate Ted Cruz the previous night during a rally.
The billionaire businessman did not call the Texas senator the derogatory term directly, but did echo the supporter, whom he asked to repeat the term.
Tuesday morning, Trump stuck to his guns and said the crowd loved his use of the word.
“It was like a retweet," Trump said on Fox and Friends. "I would never say a word like that. Every once in a while you can have a little fun, don’t you think?”
The exchange happened at a New Hampshire rally while Trump was talking about Cruz's stance of not being in full-throated support of torture to gain information about terrorist activities. That is when an audience member shouted the insult and Trump took notice.
"She just said a terrible thing. Shout it out because I don't want to say it," Trump said to the supporter. "You're not allowed to say — and I never expect to hear that from you again. … She said, 'He's a pussy.'"
While also appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Tuesday, Trump again said he stood by the "great moment."
“I was just repeating what she said so everyone could hear,” Trump said. "I was doing everybody a favor. I got a standing ovation, the place went wild. You’re talking about close to 5,000 people. It was a great moment. The world is politically correct.”
The New Hampshire primary is Tuesday night.
