Donald Trump's 5 Most Retweeted Tweets
The Republican presidential nominee's top 2016 posts highlight defiance (and taco bowls).
Donald Trump's campaign has come to be defined by his many tweets and late-night tweetstorms. The Republican presidential candidate is so prolific on the social media site that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton event referenced his tweets in a frequently quoted speech earlier this year in which she said, "A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons."
So, in the final days leading up to the presidential election, The Hollywood Reporter has assembled a list of Trump's most popular tweets based on the number of retweets they've received:
1. JUNE 9
In response to Hillary Clinton's "Delete your account" tweet:

2. JULY 20
The media is spending more time doing a forensic analysis of Melania's speech than the FBI spent on Hillary's emails.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 20, 2016
3. MAY 5
4. OCT. 8
Several hours after the "grab 'em by the pussy" video surfaced, Trump apologized in a 90-second video, noting, "Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course."
