Dorian Brown, Tommy Flanagan Join Sharon Stone in 'Running Wild'
The actors will star in the Alex Ranarivelo-directed drama.
Dorian Brown (Wilfred) and Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy) have signed on to star alongside Sharon Stone in the drama Running Wild.
Stone will star as film’s main villain Meredith opposite Brown who will play Stella Davis, a widow who saves her ranch by working with convicts to rehabilitate a herd of wild horses that wandered onto her property. Flanagan will play Ponytail Jon, the alpha of a group of convicts who are brought to he property as part of the rehabilitation program.
Alex Ranarivelo will direct the film from a script by Brian Rudick and co-producer Christina Moore.
The film will be produced by ESX Entertainment, which was founded by Forrest Lucas and Ali Afshar.
Brown is best known for her regular role on the Netflix comedy Wilfred. The actress has also previously starred in the 2013 sports drama Home Run. She’s repped by Domain Talent and McKeon-Myones Management.
Flanagan starred in a leading role on the popular FX series Sons of Anarchy for six years. His film work includes roles in Gladiator and Sin City. The actor's upcoming projects include leading roles in the Benny Boom-directed thriller Wild for the Night and true story-inspired drama Light Wounds where Flanagan will play the father of an Air Force veteran battling schizophrenia. He’s repped by Gersh and Untitled Entertainment.
