#SocialGathering: Drake and Rihanna Are (Maybe) Back Together; Leo DiCaprio Remembers Cecil the Lion
And Gwyneth Paltrow is a cool mom.
Can't keep up with what's been going on in the social media world? Fret not. Here, a gathering of what the stars have been up to this week on social media.
Drake and Rihanna Spark Rekindled Romance Rumors
You're going to want to lurk, lurk, lurk — on this video. Drake and Rihanna's onstage chemistry at this week’s Anti World Tour show in Manchester, England, has the rumor mill churning. While the couple have officially stayed silent regarding their relationship status, Drake announced onstage: "Shout out to the most beautiful, talented woman I've ever seen. She goes by the name of Rihanna. … I'm gettin' my heart broken." Rihanna posted the below video this week, and it’s impossible to only watch one time. Like, how do they do it? While the chemistry could just be a reaction to the see-through fringed catsuit and thong combo, we're guessing Drake is just extremely happy to be onstage with his girl(friend)?
Leo DiCaprio Remembers Cecil the Lion
Environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio posted a heartfelt message in remembrance of the majestic Cecil the Lion of Zimbabwe, who was shot by American dentist Walter Palmer a year ago this week. The lion's death was mourned worldwide, as it was discovered it took the animal a staggering 40 hours to die. An international call to action was put forth to protect the beautiful beasts — however not much has changed in a year. According to The International Fund for Animal Welfare, an estimated 20,000 lions remain in the wild. He's got a heart of gold, that Leo.
"Who Needs Balmain?" (Not Lindsay Lohan)
Lindsay Lohan went to war with the Balmain Army on Instagram this week. After the actress revealed to Vanity Fair her intent to pen an advice book, the castaway actress posted a selfie with some fighting words: “Who needs BALMAIN when you have Gucci and Ralph Lauren oh [and] Tom Ford.” No word if Lohan is actually wearing one of the aforementioned designers in the selfie, or why she’s throwing shade at Balmain. The actress, currently living in London, made news last week for her passionate, albeit confusing, stance on the Brexit vote: “#besmart pay attention and work hard to buy @chanel where’s Sunderland?” No word yet if Lohan will cover how to conduct oneself on social media in her new advice book.
Gwyneth Paltrow Is a Cool Mom
Gwyneth Paltrow posted a video of her children Moses and Apple Martin singing along onstage at dad Chris Martin's Glastonbury Coldplay concert. The kids were joined by two unknown friends, and stage fright was no issue for the crew — they were emphatically dancing and singing along to Coldplay's hit “Up&Up."
Rosé (Candy) All Day
This is not a drill. Celebrity favorite rosé Whispering Angel has partnered with Beverly Hills sweet spot Sugarfina on Sugarfina Whispering Angel Rosé Gummies ($20). The gummies are served two different ways: Yes Way Rosé Roses (rose-shaped) and the Rosé All Day Bears. The process of making the candy involves heat, meaning the alcohol content is cooked off, so everyone can enjoy the taste of Whispering Angel without the buzz. What to pair with the candy? Whispering Angel, of course. More than 3,000 people signed up for the waitlist after the presale product sold out in two hours. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for info on how to be added to the waitlist for the next shipment.
You guys, the rosé gummy madness is out. of. control. We now have more than 3000 (update: 3482!) people on the waitlist, so here's how it's going to work 1 If you haven't already, email email@example.com by 5pm PST today. 2 You'll receive an email with instructions on how to sign up to a particular store's waitlist (you have to pick up in store, online is sold out). 3 The waitlist is "first come, first serve" so if you really REALLY want them, show up at store opening hours (10am for most stores). You must be on the waitlist to purchase and we expect they'll sell out quickly. Limit 2 per person. 4 So sorry, but there are no holds, no shipping, no deliveries. If you can't show up at opening, we suggest sending someone in your place. 5 More Rosé bears will be available in late July, and you'll automatically be on the waitlist for those too. Phew. Thanks everyone for all the excitement, we had NO IDEA it was going to be this crazy!
Debra Messing came under fire this week for live-tweeting her humanitarian mission to Malawi. Fans were skeptical of the actress' authenticity while providing help, with many wondering why she bothered at all. Messing handled the whole issue with grace, pointing aggressors to PSI, a Washington, D.C., nonprofit focused on family planning and sexual health that serves over 69 countries. The irony about the whole issue is that actresses often catch flak for their vain existence... damned if they don't.
Lena Dunham’s Relationship Status
Taken. Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff are still going strong after four years together, confirmed by a photo of the couple in bed. The actress noted that she was asked if she was still with the rocker while out getting a sandwich.
Elle Is So Belle
Elle Fanning’s makeup artist Erin Ayanian Monroe posted a gorgeous portrait of the young star at the HFPA press conference. From the feline-themed Dolce & Gabbana frock to the cat-eye makeup, Elle looked absolutely purrr-fect.
Pinterest Launches Shopping Feature

She Got It From Her Mama
On nearly every record, Beyonce has made her beliefs on how women should be treated very clear — and her mom, Tina Knowles, may have been a big influence there. Miss Tina Lawson is no stranger to telling it like it is, posting a screenshot of a quote on how “Grown men” should act … Beyonce liked the post.
