Watch Hollywood Reporter's Full, Uncensored Drama Showrunner Roundtable With Sam Esmail of 'Mr. Robot,' Marti Noxon of 'UnREAL' and More

THR’s Roundtable series airs Sundays on SundanceTV.

A weekend TV-programming note: Check out The Hollywood Reporter's acclaimed roundtable series Sunday mornings on SundanceTV.

In this week's episode, six of television's top drama series bosses — Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot), Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey), Nina Jacobson (The People v. O.J. Simpson), Marti Noxon (UnREAL), Melissa Rosenberg (Jessica Jones) and John Ridley (American Crime) — open up about the stories that made them genuinely nervous, the things they still can’t believe they got past the network censors and the ongoing inequities of being anyone other than a privileged white male.

Viewers can watch the roundtable discussion on Sundance TV as part of the cable channel's original nonfiction series, Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter, produced in partnership with THR. Come back to THR.com on Mondays after the shows air for the full, uncensored discussion online.

The fifth of seven episodes — the Drama Showrunner Roundtable — aired Sunday, July 24, at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT on channel 557 on DirecTV and on 126 on Dish nationwide, and at 10 a.m. ET/PT on cable (channel 625 on TWC in L.A., 94 in NYC).

The filmed roundtable panels will feature Emmy nominees and other top stars of the year's most buzzed-about television series, including comedy and drama actors, actresses and showrunners, and reality hosts and producers. Guests will discuss everything from their individual projects to their craft and true stories from the business. The panels will present thoughtful, informative takes on the film and television industry today.
