Dress du Jour: Jena Malone's Custom Sequined Outfit

The genius behind the one-of-a-kind design? Thom Browne.

The Dress: A custom sequined top and skirt by New York-based designer Thom Browne.

The Wearer: Jena Malone, who was styled by Karla Welch.

The Event: At the Nobody Wants the Night film premiere at Berlin Film Festival's opening night on Thursday.

Why We Dig: Thom Browne rarely creates evening custom designs for the red carpet, so when we saw Malone step out in his one-of-a-kind creation, our jaws dropped — the ensemble gave a whole new meaning to the term flower power. The gown, covered in sequins and featured two slits, packed a nice punch with its strategically-placed floral pattern. With her dark eyeliner and slick-back hair, Malone let her dress do all the talking. It spoke volumes, indeed.
