AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands -- Dutch Distributor FilmWorks has announced the launch of a new division, House of Knowledge International to extend its catalog. The new branch will concentrate on international cross-platform distribution, licensing, and production.

According to FilmWorks CEO Willem Pruijssers the initiative will mainly handle DVD projects on the topics of mind, body and spirit. "We have been very successful in the field for the last six years in the Netherlands and Belgium. It is more than logic that we expand this to a more international level."

One of the main new selling points of Dutch FilmWorks will be an English-language version of "World War II in sound and motion," a 16-part DVD series.

The company plans to make a presentation during the upcoming MIP-TV in Cannes to include new programs on DVD and CD-ROM such as "Staya Erusa: Find The Book of Knowledge," "The Secret Goes Europe," "The Secret Workshops," "Sexual Intelligence," and "Jumpstyle."
