LONDON -- Ealing Studios and Lionhead Prods. are partnering to back and produce Oscar-winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes' sophomore directorial outing, "From Time To Time."

Starring Maggie Smith, Timothy Spall, Hugh Bonneville and Anne Reid, the film details the story of a boy's journey through time to discover his family's dramatic and mysterious past.

Fellowes, who will direct from his own screenplay, is producing the picture alongside Liz Trubridge and Paul Kingsley.

The script is based on Lucy M. Boston's series of books "The Children of Green Knowe" and the movie will be shot on location in and around London.

The deal, announced Thursday, was negotiated between James Spring at Ealing Studios and Paul Kingsley of Lionhead Prods. and announced Thursday.

Ealing Studios International, the newly established sales arm at Ealing, will take on worldwide sales duties for the project.

"From Time To Time" is the third film, along with "St. Trinian's" and "I Want Candy," to be added to Ealing Studios International sales slate. The new sales arm will make its debut at the upcoming Cannes Marche du Film.

Ealing Studios International aims to bring "between three and six films annually" to market, Spring said.

Ealing Studios was bought in 2000 by Barnaby Thompson, Uri Fruchtmann, Harry Handelsman and John Kao.
