Not everyone wants to cook on Turkey Day. For those who’d prefer to eat without the toil, some of the city’s top restaurants are open Nov. 24 -- or else offer the ultimate in Thanksgiving-specific gourmet takeout that will taste (let’s face it) even better than homemade. Our holiday hit list:

The Bazaar
For $65 per person, chef Jose Andres offers either the obvious -- roasted organic turkey, giblet stuffing, cranberry sauce -- or alternatives a bit less traditional: New Zealand red snapper, sweet potatoes with passion fruit meringue and a very Spanish salted potato appetizer with a cilantro-and-cumin green sauce. 465 S. La Cienega Blvd., L.A., 310.246.5555, sbe.com/sls/bazaar

Jar
The neo-retro chophouse offers an $85 menu that starts with chestnut chickpea soup, runs through mashed Yukon gold potatoes and Kabocha squash with sage brown butter and is centered on a roasted turkey with in-house cranberry relish.  8225 Beverly Blvd., L.A., 323.655.6566, thejar.com

Campanile
This elegant rustic Italian stalwart begins its seatings as early as noon for the $55 family-style menu. Chef Mark Peel will present a rosemary-charred bird, along with savory bread pudding, sweet corn succotash and a spiced pumpkin tart dessert. 624 S. La Brea Ave., L.A., 323.938.1447, campanilerestaurant.com

Patina
Joachim Splichal’s Walt Disney Concert Hall flagship space presents a four-course $68 menu that includes a turkey prepared sous vide and sides like wild mushroom stuffing. A poached apple rounds things out.  141 S. Grand Ave., L.A., 213.972.3331, patinarestaurant.com

Joe’s
Currently celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Venice culinary pioneer presents a $56 four-course feast that begins with a first course of lobster and pumpkin seed oil and ends with sweet potato bread pudding with toasted marshmallow ice cream. 1023 Abbot Kinney Blvd., L.A., 310.399.5811, joesrestaurant.com
