Eisner back as Lippin exec vp
EmptyLes Eisner has been named executive vp at entertainment marketing and public relations firm the Lippin Group, where he will be responsible for overseeing corporate communications and PR campaigns for several major television, film and new-media clients in the U.S. and abroad.
The move reunites Eisner, who was vp media relations at Twentieth Television since 2004, with the PR firm where he previously spent 10 years. Eisner, based in Lippin Group's Los Angeles headquarters, also will have management responsibilities within the company, reporting to chairman and CEO Dick Lippin.
"Les was an important part of our company for 10 years, and I fully expect his contributions to be even greater in the years ahead," Lippin said. "He is knowledgeable, talented and well liked by clients and his colleagues. That is a winning combination."
At Twentieth, Fox Entertainment Group's U.S. syndication division, Eisner oversaw all corporate communications, show publicity and talent relations. He also was involved with the startup and launch of MyNetworkTV, the company's recently launched primetime broadcast network.
Before that, he had been with Lippin Group since 1994, joining as an assistant and working his way up the ranks to positions ranging from account executive to executive vp. During that time, he represented such clients as NATPE, Tribune Entertainment, DirecTV, Crown Media Holdings and the Hallmark Channel, Warner Home Video, the United Kingdom's Channel 4 International, WorldLink, Carlton America and Carlton International (now Granada America) and News Corp.'s Sky Latin America.
Eisner started his career as a page for Paramount Pictures.
