Eisner reiterates he won't run Tribune
Bought debt though and may advise media firmFormer Walt Disney Co. CEO Michael Eisner on Tuesday reiterated that he will not become chairman of a post-bankruptcy Tribune Co.
In an interview with WGN-720 AM radio, Eisner said: "No, I'm not going to run it."
He had previously said he was "highly unlikely" to run Tribune.
Eisner on Tuesday shared some additional insight though. For example, he said he feels comfortable advising Tribune management. And Eisner said that he had bought Tribune debt as an investment and acknowledged knowing some of the firm's principals.
