Elephant Eye's 'Push' abroad

Sundance favorite sold to Spain, France, Greece

LONDON -- New York-based sales and finance house Elephant Eye Films has sold Lee Daniels’ "Precious: Based on the novel Push by Sapphire" to Filmax for Spain, ARP for France and Videorama for Greece.

The movie, formerly known as “Push: Based on a novel by Sapphire,” tells the story of Precious Jones, a teenage girl in Harlem who struggles against all odds to discover her own voice. It won a trio of prizes at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, including the jury and audience awards.
