Eli Frankel Inks Overall TV Deal With Lionsgate
He was previously svp of development for Magical Elves, developing “Kell on Earth” and “America’s Next Great Restaurant."
Eli Frankel, who was svp of development for Magical Elves, has signed a two-year overall television deal with Lionsgate.
“Creating successful non-scripted programming is an ongoing priority for Lionsgate,” said Kevin Beggs, Lionsgate Television Group president, “and we’re excited that Eli will be joining us in this effort. His track record is impressive as both a creative development executive and hands-on producer, and we expect our collaboration to open up exciting new opportunities in this highly competitive arena.”
At Magical Elves, the company behind Project Runway and Top Chef, Frankel has developed Bravo’s Kell on Earth, NBC’s America’s Next Great Restaurant and WE’s Braxton Family Values.
Previously, he was svp of worldwide content, development and programming for Pilgrim Films & Television, where he developed and served as showrunner for shows including American Chopper.
