'24' co-star to play female lead in the ABC pilot

"24" alumna Elisha Cuthbert has been tapped as the female lead in ABC's comedy pilot "Happy Endings."

"Endings" revolves around a bride (Cuthbert) and a groom who, after breaking up at the altar, must figure out how they and their four friends can maintain their relationship.

Best known for playing Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) daughter on "24," Cuthbert recently recurred on ABC's drama "The Forgotten." She is repped by ICM and manager John Carrabino.
