Get the Look, Digital Starlet Edition: Kelly Oxford as Elizabeth Taylor

There is just so much inspiration to draw from when it comes to Elizabeth Taylor. Upon deciding which beauty moment I wanted to mimic, I decided to look at Taylor's earlier career, especially at the 1951 film A Place in the Sun, when Liz had a more innocent, less made-up look.

I started off by moisturizing Kelly's skin with Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base ($55) to prep her face for makeup. Then I applied Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15 ($48) to any areas that needed coverage and dotted Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer ($24) over any other redness or blemishes. To eliminate shine from her T-zone area, I dabbed a light application of Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder ($37) and swirled a small amount of Bobbi Brown Blush in Nude Pink ($26) on the apples of her cheeks for a natural flushed color.

Taylor was famous for her full brows, so I sought to emulate the same look for Kelly. The Bobbi Brown Dark Brow Kit ($47) was perfect to give Kelly fuller brows, especially since I used it with the angled Bobbi Brown Eyebrow Brush for extra precision ($27). On her eyes, I used the Bobbi Brown Old Hollywood Eye Palette ($75), a wearable collection of nine shades in both cool and warm tones. I put an Ivory shade on her lid, Beige in her crease and Eclipse (dark gray) in the outer V of her eyes. I used the same color to softly line her eyes. After, I used Ardell Duralash Flare Medium Individual Lashes ($3.99) to boost Kelly’s lash line, with Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara in Black ($25) to volumize and thicken.

Lastly, I finished off Kelly’s makeup with Bobbi Brown Lip Color in Soft Rose ($25).
