Emile Hirsch Welcomes a Baby Boy (Report)
The actor, who recently signed on to play John Belushi in a biopic, reportedly welcomed a son named Valor last week in Florida.
Emile Hirsch is a dad, according to multiple reports.
The actor, who recently signed on to play John Belushi in a biopic, reportedly welcomed a son named Valor on Oct. 27 in Florida.
The New York Daily News first reported Oct. 2 that the 28-year-old actor was expecting a baby, his first, with a woman whom he met at an Oscar party.
A rep for Hirsch has not yet responded to The Hollywood Reporter's request for comment. Hirsch has not commented on the news, but on the day the baby was born, he tweeted: "Love to all my followers, beautiful Sunday." A photo of Hirsch cradling a newborn said to be Valor hit the Internet on Sunday.
On the day the Daily News ran its story, Hirsch tweeted: "I have a baby announcement to make. I am in fact @RonanFarrow's biological father," a joke referring to Mia Farrow's shocking revelation about her son with Woody Allen.
Late last month, Hirsch signed on to play Belushi in Steve Conrad's untitled indie drama, eyed to go into production in the spring in New York.
He next stars as Clyde Barrow in the telepic Bonnie & Clyde, which will be simulcast over two nights on the History Channel, A&E and Lifetime, and also is part of the all-star cast of awards contender Lone Survivor, which tells the story of former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell.
His other credits include Speed Racer and The Girl Next Door.
E! Online was the first to report the news of the baby's birth.
