Emilio Pucci Appoints New Creative Director
Massimo Giorgetti will succeed Peter Dundas, who departed the luxury label after seven years to join Roberto Cavalli.
Not long after Peter Dundas was named Roberto Cavalli's new creative director, Emilio Pucci found its new creative director: MSGM designer Massimo Giorgetti.
Giorgetti, who launched his own line in 2009, will take the helm at the Florentine luxury label in April while still continuing to design for MSGM. According to a release, the 38-year-old fashion designer will divide his time between Pucci's Florentine headquarters and MSGM's Milan offices. He'll debut his first Pucci collection in September during Milan Fashion Week.
Giorgetti's own vibrant designs have already been seen on the likes of Cara Delevingne and Olivia Palermo, so it won't be a total shocker when he attracts more "It" girls to sport his new collection for Pucci this upcoming season.
