Emmys 2011: 'Deadliest Catch' Nets Outstanding Reality Program Award
"Survivor's' Jeff Probst named best reality-competition host at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards Saturday.
Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch and CBS's Survivor netted major wins at Saturday night's Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
Deadliest Catch won outstanding reality program, beating programs such as PBS's Antiques Roadshow, CBS's Undercover Boss, and A&E's Hoarders.

The show won four Emmys in all, with additional nods for editing, sound mixing and cinematography.
Probst, whose Survivor wasn't nominated in the reality competition category, still pulled out a victory as outstanding reality or reality-competition program host. His competition included American Idol's Ryan Seacrest, The Amazing Race's Phil Keoghan and Dancing With the Stars' Tom Bergeron.
Deadliest Catch, which documents deep-sea crab fisherman, averaged 2 million viewers in the 18-49 demo this past summer.
The program has documented several serious, real-life incidents including the deaths of Captain Phil Harris and Time Bandit crew member Justin Tennison.
