Emmys 2012: Jimmy Kimmel Stepping in to Announce Nominees

“Parks and Recreation” star Nick Offerman has bowed out after being delayed by bad weather on the East Coast.

Nick Offerman is out and Jimmy Kimmel is in for Thursday morning’s announcement of the Primetime Emmy Award nominations.

Offerman, star of NBC’s Parks and Recreation, bowed out due to bad weather travel delays on the East Coast. The announcement for the 64th annual awards will now feature Kimmel in his place. 

Emmys 2012: Final Feinberg Forecast for 64th Primetime Nominations

Kimmel will join Kerry Washington and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Chairman Bruce Rosenblum at 5:40 a.m. PST to reveal the nominees. The announcement will be streamed online.
