Emmys Fashion: It's Easy Being (Emerald) Green
The Emmys red carpet was green with envy as Sarah Hyland, Mayim Bialik and Anna Chlumsky wore emerald gowns to Sunday night's ceremony.
The 65th annual Emmys red carpet saw plenty of trends from various shades of blues to bold floral designs. And one trend to also receive a lot of love from this year's biggest TV stars? Gorgeous green hues.
Stepping out in an emerald green Oliver Tolentino dress and shoes was The Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik, who was nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series. The actress paired her gown -- which featured sheer sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and an embellished waistline -- with a sparkling green Swarovski clutch, a Takat ring, and Bellarri earrings.
Nominee Anna Chlumsky looked glamorous in a strapless green gown with black lace cut-outs designed by Badgley Mischka. Completing her evening look, the actress styled her outfit with wavy bedhead hair and bright fuchsia lipstick.
Modern Family's Sarah Hyland also didn't shy away from green in a CH Carolina Herrera dress decked out with black lace. The 22-year-old actress, who wore a soft gray gown at last year's award show, opted for a darker, more mature look with the deep red lips. To top off her sophisticated appearance, she styled her gown with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a black Swarovski clutch.
