This year's Emmy nominees will appear in 'Interstellar,' 'Dumb and Dumber To,' 'Horrible Bosses 2' and 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay,' among many others

Some of the shows that received the most nominations heading in to Monday's Emmy Awards ceremony — think House of CardsOrange Is the New Black, Game of Thrones, True Detective — won't be airing new episodes again anytime soon (or at all, in the case of Breaking Bad, which led the way with 16 noms). Luckily, many of this year's Emmy-nominated actors can be seen in movies releasing this fall, some of which count among the season's most hotly anticipated films.

Here, you'll find a list of the actors who are up for an award on Monday and also have a film hitting theaters in 2014. Then again, it's unlikely that you even needed an additional reason to look forward to Interstellar, Dumb and Dumber To, Foxcatcher and many others.
