The suspect was cited for lewdness.

The New Jersey man accused of pleasuring himself in a public theater while watching The Emoji Movie has been caught and cited, Howell Township police spokesman Christian Antunez told The Hollywood Reporter

The incident occurred last Friday when Abraham Parnes, 43, alleged had his hands down his unzipped pants while sitting in the back row of the theater.

Parnes was spotted allegedly touching himself by a mother who was seeing the film with her children, Antunez said. She informed the manager of what was going on and Parnes was kicked out. Police were called shortly thereafter.

Parnes turned himself in to police on Thursday night, Antunez said. He was cited for lewdness and released.

The Emoji Movie, Sony's animated comedy based on smartphone icons, features the voices of T.J. Miller, James Corden and Patrick Stewart.
