Endemol Shine Signs Deal With Reality Producer Justin Hochberg
The producer created 'The Profit' and 'The Great Escape.'
Endemol Shine North America has signed reality producer Justin Hochberg to an exclusive multi-platform deal that will have him and his Just Entertainment Studio developing new formats and digital content for the TV house.
“We’re excited to have Justin on our Endemol Shine team to develop the next generation of global TV formats and branded digital content,” said Endemol Shine USA unscripted TV president Eden Gaha. “Justin’s a talented producer with the ability to bring together all of the elements that create major TV franchises.”
Hochberg created both CNBC's The Profit and 2012 TNT effort The Great Escape. He was also part of the original team that developed and launched The Apprentice and The Contender franchises.
"The new Endemol Shine is more than a TV juggernaut. Having access to its digital platforms, talent, consumer products and global reach, has already begun paying dividends," said Hochberg. "I've never gotten bigger and better ideas sold faster. What producer wouldn't dream to have that?"
Hochberg has created and sold north of 30 television formats over the course of his career, completing more than $120 million in product integration deals.
