Timothy Olyphant has joined FX's legal drama series "Damages," and Hart Bochner has been added to USA Network's upcoming series "The Starter Wife." Additionally, Nicole Richie has signed on to guest star on NBC's "Chuck."

On Season 2 of "Damages," Olyphant, repped by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment, will play a man who becomes entangled in the life of Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) as she deals with her boss, Patty Hewes (Glenn Close), when the firm takes a new client (William Hurt).

In "Wife," Bochner, repped by the Arlook Group, will play Zach, Molly's (Debra Messing) new love interest. Brielle Barbusca has been cast as Molly and Kenny's (David Alan Bashe) daughter. (Bethany Whitmore played the character in last summer's miniseries.)

Guest stars who have signed on to "Wife" include Ronny Cox, Krista Allen, Reggie Austin, Daniel Gerroll and James Black.

On "Chuck," Handprint-repped Richie will play a snarky, spiteful girl whom Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) went to school with and has to confront at their 10-year high school reunion.

"This role is a great opportunity for Nicole to show off her comedic skills and be diabolically evil and kick some butt," exec producer Josh Schwartz said. (partialdiff)
