eOne Takes North American Rights to Hilary Swank-Starrer 'You're Not You'
The indie distributor plans a theatrical release later this year.
TORONTO — Entertainment One Films’ U.S. division has acquired the North American rights to the Hilary Swank-starrer You’re Not You.
George C. Wolfe’s drama also stars Emmy Rossum and Josh Duhamel, and is due for a theatrical release later this year.
You’re Not You is produced by Swank and her 2S Films partner Molly Smith, along with Denise Di Novi of DiNovi Pictures.
The film portrays a relationship between Kate (Swank), a woman who has been immobilized by Lou Gehrig’s disease, and Bec (Rossum).
The ensemble cast includes Loretta Devine, Ernie Hudson, Frances Fisher, Marcia Gay Harden, Ali Larter, Jason Ritter, Julian McMahon and Andrea Savage.
With a screenplay by Jordan Roberts and Shana Feste, You’re Not You is based on the novel of the same name by Michelle Wildgen.
The deal was negotiated for eOne Films U.S. by Sejin Croninger, vp worldwide acquisitions, and for the filmmakers by CAA.
Myriad Pictures is handling international sales and introduced the film to buyers at EFM in Berlin.
