Epstein expands NBC Uni digital role
EmptyDavid Blair Epstein has been tapped to oversee the digital endeavors for all of NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's online properties.
In his new role as vp digital strategy, New York-based Epstein will dedicate much of his day-to-day responsibilities toward expanding all digital endeavors for the distribution division's online properties.
Since 2006, Epstein has served as director of interactive for the division's entertainment newsmagazine "Access Hollywood" and AccessHollywood.com, overseeing operations for the entire digital team including design, tech, operational management and the launch of additional digital products. He also spearheaded the launch and implementation of several Web initiatives along with a complete redesign and relaunch of AccessHollywood.com, which is coming off its best month ever, jumping 249% in unique users compared with the same month a year ago. In his new role, Epstein will continue to be the online site leader for the show.
"David is a proven innovator and has been an invaluable member of our team since he joined the company in 2006," said Betsy Bergman, vp marketing at NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. "He is well-positioned to lead the digital strategy for our division and help build a loyal audience online."

Before joining NBC Universal, Epstein served as a consultant for Digital Media Farm and was founder and CEO of BlairLake New Media, which he sold in 2000 to Compuware Inc.
