San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson turned heads at Wednesday night's ESPY Awards.
The professional baseball player showed up in a black-and-white spandex tuxedo. The look was completed with sunglasses orange bowtie and socks, white gloves, a cane and black-and-white high-top sneakers.
Wilson is nicknamed "The Beard" for known for his voluminous facial hair. Many fans wear fake beards to games in support of the player and bear signs saying "Fear the Beard."
Meanwhile, it's been a good week for Wilson. The pitcher closed out Tuesday night's MLB All-Star Game in Phoenix, resulting in the National League winning 5-1, its first consecutive All-Star Game win since 1996. (The win is significant because it gives the NL home-field advantage in this year's World Series.)
Wilson made his major league debut with the Giants in 2006.
Seth Meyers hosted the ESPYs, which took place Wednesday night at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles.
