Eva Amurri, daughter of actress Susan Sarandon, has married former Major League Soccer player Kyle Martino.
The couple, who became engaged last year, said "I do" in the historic town of Charleston, S.C., People reports. The wedding ceremony was officiated by Sister Helen Prejean, which the 1995 feature film Dead Man Walking -- starring Sarandon as Prejean -- was about. Amurri and Martino chose Charleston because that is where Martino's parents live.
Dead Man Walking, co-starring Sean Penn and directed by Tim Robbins, grossed $39.4 million in the U.S. box office, acording to Box Office Mojo.
A black-tie dinner and party followed after the wedding, which took place on Saturday afternoon. Guests toasted with Perrier Jouet champagne.
The 26-year-old actress wore a Lela Rose dress, while Martino, who now serves as a commentator, donned Brioni. Sarandon, who attended the wedding along with Robbins (who raised Amurri before he and Sarandon broke up), and the bridesmaids' dresses were also designed by Rose.
Amurri, who recently signed with Paradigm, has a few projects in the pipeline, including Stag, AmeriQua and I Hate You, Dad.
