Eva Amurri: What's Next for the Actress
The actress, and daughter of Susan Sarandon, was married in Charleston, S.C. over the weekend.
Up-and-coming actress Eva Amurri, daughter of Susan Sarandon, married former Major League Soccer player Kyle Martino over the weekend.
The pair said their vows Saturday, Oct. 29, in Charleston, S.C. and was officiated by Sister Helen Prejean, the woman on whom the Sarandon's 1995 film, Dead Man Walking was based.
But, that's not the only big event Amurri has on her schedule. The thespian, who has appeared in many of her mom's movies, also has a few films coming out.
The actress has a role in Adam Sandler's upcoming I Hate You, Dad. The film, about a father who moves in with his son just before he's due to marry, also stars her mother, Leighton Meester, Milo Ventimiglia, James Caan and Andy Samberg. It's set for a June 15, 2012 release.
The rest of her recent projects have yet to set release dates, but also share some big-name qualities.
She recently shot Brett Heard's Stag, starring alongside Donald Faison. The independent film, in which she plays a Hollywood starlet, is a comedy about a stag (bachelor) party gone wrong.
Amurri also acted with Alec Baldwin in Marco Bellone and Giovanni Consonnni's AmeriQua (slated for a 2012 release), about a wealthy college grad whose parents cut him off with a $5,000 check and an ultimatum to use it to start his life. Instead he travels to Europe and finds himself in many a misadventure.
