Eve leads 'League' for DW
Miller, Torrence also cast in comedyBritish actress Alice Eve will play a regular guy's dream girl in DreamWorks' comedy "She's Out of My League."
T.J. Miller ("Cloverfield") and Nate Torrence (NBC's "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip") also have joined the film, which stars Jay Baruchel ("Knocked Up").
The story centers on an average Joe named Kirk (Baruchel), who after meeting and falling for Molly (Eve) — who is described as a "perfect 10" — becomes surprised when she takes an interest in him.
Miller will play Stainer, Kirk's best friend. Torrence plays one of Kirk's other friends.
Jim Field Smith is directing from the latest script by Tim Dowling ("Coxblocker"). That draft is based on an original script by Sean Anders and John Morris.
Jimmy Miller is producing and George Gatins is executive producing for Mosaic. David Householter also is serving as an executive producer on the film, which is set to begin production March 31.
Kira Goldberg and Ashley Brucks are overseeing for DreamWorks president of production Adam Goodman.
Eve, who stars in the Tom Stoppard-directed play "Rock 'n' Roll" on Broadway, recently wrapped production on the Wayne Kramer-directed drama "Crossing Over," starring Harrison Ford and Sean Penn.
She is repped by UTA, Untitled Entertainment, Sue Latimer of ARG in London and attorney Fred Toczek.
Miller, a series regular on ABC's "Carpoolers," is repped by UTA and 3 Arts Entertainment.
Torrence, who appears in the upcoming Steve Carell starrer "Get Smart," is repped by CAA, Messina/Baker Entertainment and attorney Lev Ginsburg.
