The Numbers star joins Jim Carrey, Carla Gugino, James Tupper and Clark Gregg in the story of a high-powered businessman who inherits six penguins that disrupt his life and swanky New York apartment. Krumholtz will play Kent, a neighbor who sees an opportunity to pay off a grudge against Popper when he suspects that he's keeping illegal pets on the premises.
Mean Girls director Mark Waters is helming the screenplay by Sean Anders, John Morris and Nick Stoller. John Davis of Davis Entertainment is producing the project, which is shooting in New York for an Aug. 12 release.
Krumholtz is repped by CAA and the Collective.
