Mike Hill has been named executive vp marketing and sales at Entertainment Partners. Hill, who was senior vp motion picture production finance at Paramount, will help the company expand its services to address the growing needs of the market.



Lee Crain and Heidi Newman have been upped to senior vp national accounts TV networks distribution at NBC Universal. Crain and Newman will be responsible for overseeing distribution for the company's major accounts and cable networks. Both will continue to report to Henry Ahn, executive vp TV networks distribution.



Krista Parkinson has joined Content Partners as senior vp. Parkinson, who worked at WMA for eight years, was president of First Step Media, a company designed to help recent college graduates obtain jobs in the entertainment industry. In addition to her post at Content Partners, Parkinson will remain a consultant with Tony Hawk's 900 Films.



Michael Eaton has joined National CineMedia as senior vp marketing. He will oversee marketing for the company's cinema advertising division, which includes the FirstLook prefeature program, the Lobby Entertainment Network and promotional services. Eaton was CEO and co-founder of Henchman Entertainment, an entertainment-based marketing consulting group.



Julie Prentice has been named vp client relations for NMA Entertainment & Marketing. She will lead placement and promotion strategies for several high-profile clients. Prentice most recently was a junior publicist with Dish Communications, where she was involved with public relations for the Miss Universe Corp.



Ellen East has been appointed executive vp corporate communications at Time Warner Cable, where she will oversee the corporate communications and public affairs teams. She replaces Lynn Yaeger, who will retire at year's end. East most recently was vp communications and public affairs at Cox Communications.



Jennifer Dangar was promoted to senior vp domestic distribution for Discovery Communications. Dangar will manage national accounts, field sales and be responsible for the network's relationship with the country's largest distributors for Discovery's U.S. networks. She will oversee teams in the Silver Spring, Md., headquarters location as well as the Los Angeles, Atlanta and Charlotte, N.C., regional offices. Dangar most recently was vp national accounts and strategic marketing at Turner Broadcasting.
