Facebook's Randi Zuckerberg Lands Two-Book Deal
The sister of social media titan Mark Zuckerberg will release a memoir in Fall 2013 followed by a children's book.
Former Facebook Marketing Director and CEO of Zuckerberg Media, Randi Zuckerberg has signed a two-book deal with HarperCollins Publishers.
The publishing company announced that Dot Complicated, a memoir, and a children’s picture book are scheduled for release in Fall of 2013, wih the memoir coming November 5.
The autobiography will cover her entrepreneurial journey, including her work as a television correspondent, social media executive, and producer.
Details will also include the launch of her company, professional insight into the digital age, and the balance of career and motherhood.
Zuckerberg describes today's digital world as “a lot like the wild, wild west."
In a statement she said, “I am thrilled to be working with HarperCollins to share some of my own crazy experiences on the front lines of social media and to inspire people of all ages to embrace technology, as well as the new set of social norms that come along with it.”
