TORONTO -- Family Channel Canada has picked up the teen sitcom pilot "What's Up, Warthogs!" from local producer Aircraft Pictures.
The multi-camera comedy about a group of awkward teens was created and written by Julie Sagalowsky and Alex Diaz and is executive produced by Dolphin Entertainment.

Bill O'Dowd of Dolphin and Andrew Rosen of Aircraft Pictures share the executive producer credits. Anthony Leo of Aircraft Pictures is producing.
Julie Sagalowsky and Alex Diaz are represented by Dobre Films.
Other Family Channel Canada pilots in the works include "Fame and Cory" from Toronto producer Marblemedia, a half hour live action sitcom about a 15-year-old with a bright future and in search of his big break.

And Breakthrough Films is developing a half-hour pilot about teenage male and female leads executive produced by Ira Levy, Peter Williamson and Joan Lambur.
