Fan found dead near home of 'Idol' judge
Apparent suicide victim was infatuated with AbdulPolice say a fan of Paula Abdul has been found dead in a car parked near a home belonging to the "American Idol" judge.
Capt. Jim Miller told KTTV-TV in Los Angeles that the death appears to be a suicide. He said the unidentified woman, who was in her 30s, had an infatuation with Abdul.
Police spokeswoman Julianne Sohn said officers responded to a call at about 6 p.m. Tuesday and arrived in Sherman Oaks to find the body.
Public records show Abdul owns a home near the site where the body was found.
A message left for Abdul's publicist Stephanie Sher was not returned.
