Fellow Trump Roaster Knew The Situation Would Bomb
The "Jersey Shore" star's poorly received jokes at the Donald Trump Roast didn't shock the other performers
Comedy Central may have been surprised by Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s crash and burn during the roast of Donald Trump, but the reality star’s fellow roasters saw it coming.
“He’s a crack head. It’s gonna be a disaster,” comedian Whitney Cummings
said on to The Huffington Post on the red carpet before the start of the show.
And other roasters made their feelings about the reality star’s bit clear
during their own performances.
After Sorrentino made a crack about rapper Snoop Dogg’s ancestry, the
musician fired back:
“I gotta say a few more things about my girl Snooki over there. Oh, that
ain’t Snooki? Oh, my bad. I’m sorry. All white people who act black look
alike to me.”
Deaf actress Marlee Matlin joked: “The Situation and I have something in
common, we’ve both never heard the sound of laughter.”
Though comedian Jeff Ross did come to Sorrentino’s defense, stepping onto the
podium to urge the booing audience to “let him do his thing.”
Something he won’t likely be asked to do again for awhile.
