While Fifty Shades of Grey fans have to wait until Feb. 13, 2015 to watch EL James' screen-adapted novel, ladies from Northern Europe can channel the books' S&M tone with the author's new line of lingerie by Swedish retailer KappAhl.
The 26-piece line, designed by James, includes push-up bras, satin panties, lacy corsets and evening nightgowns in shades of grey (duh), black and red. Despite being posted on KappAhl's website, the collection can only be purchased in stores in Sweden at prices from €12.95 ($17.73) to €59.95 ($82.07).
"It has been incredibly exciting and interesting to be involved in the process, from the production of the concept through the design to the final collection," James said in a statement released by KappAhl. "I have been deeply involved at all stages, and my thoughts and suggestions are clearly visible in the collection's garments."
In August 2012, luxe lingerie label Agent Provocateur also released a lingerie collection inspired by James' erotic novel, which featured Penelope Cruz's younger sister, Monica Cruz, in its sensual campaign.
Meanwhile, the film will star Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. The pair will be joined by musician Rita Ora as Grey's sister, Marcia Gay Harden as Grey's mother and Eloise Mumford as Steele's roommate. James and producer Dana Brunetti took to Twitter to announce that Fifty Shades of Grey started filming in Vancouver on Sunday.
Since we can't own the lingerie stateside, here's a behind-the-scenes video of the collection.
